In one of New York’s poorest neighborhoods live Mark, who is shooting an amateur film about life in the area, his neighbor Roger, a musician, Mimi, a dancer, and thousands of other disadvantaged people. Some of them still believe they will make it, others have lost hope, but everyone understands that without the help of friends, they will not survive.
