A small island in South America is famous for its bananas. Once a week, good-natured Joe delivers bananas to the city by boat. In the city, he sells bananas in exchange for goods needed by the island’s population. But on one of his visits, the police demanded that he present a license to trade bananas. Joe doesn’t have one, just as he doesn’t have a passport, without which a license cannot be issued.
