It’s great that such a positive summer cartoon came out in June 2021. Even from the trailer, it became clear that ‘Pixar’ holds the bar, but it’s doubly nice to be convinced of this once again.

Plot. Boys Luca and Alberto are two friends who want to explore the seaside town. They have a common dream: to find a Vesta moped somewhere and ride it far, far away, to see the world together. But the guys hide a terrible secret from everyone: in fact, they are sea monsters living in the underwater world …

A simple tailored plot pretty quickly makes it clear that it is more correct to call boys sea creatures, but not monsters from the depths. The idea itself is not some kind of super-original: back in 1999, a film called ‘The Son of a Mermaid’ was released (in the original – ‘The Thirteenth Year’), and in 2006 the youth series’ H2O: Just Add Water was broadcast ‘about girls who became mermaids. These are just the works that first came to my mind. However, in both cases, the main characters over time revealed strange changes in themselves. Here Luca and Alberto are initially sea creatures forced to hide this unpleasant fact from unfriendly people. Several inaccuracies can be found while browsing. For example, in one of the scenes, a mother punishes a naughty son, but Luka somehow escapes too easily from under the supervision of his parents. Or an episode with a fall from a high tower, after which there is no fracture, not even bruises. Keep in mind, however, that the PG and 6+ ratings speak for themselves.

Atmosphere. You know, I seem to have returned to my happy childhood for a while. Some painfully familiar episodes made me smile, and then awakened bright and pleasant memories in me, for which many thanks to the authors. All these rides on bicycles, jumping into the water from a cliff, a cozy hut in a tree … How great it is to realize the fact that there are people in the world who are not alien to all this. Well, okay, I got really emotional and fell into the lyrics. Boys’ cherished dreams are generally one of the best things in a cartoon. Not everyone can masterfully realize children’s imagination with the help of animation. Add the Italian flavor here, adding a special charm to the tape, and you will finally understand the beauty of the picture.

Music. Several melodies of the soundtrack are truly breathtaking. Composer Dan Romer did an excellent job. It is a pity that Ennio Morricone, who was originally chosen by the director, did not live to see the work on the cartoon.

Bottom line. A pleasant, sincere and instructive fantastic cartoon about friendship for family viewing. Some moments are so touching and sweet that the soul instantly becomes warm. I highly recommend watching.

I watched this film for a long time on TV – so long ago that it was impossible to rely with confidence on my then prevailing positive opinion about it. I decided to check how tastes change over time.

Well, at first the film resembles Equilibrium, but it’s more atmosphere than content. Very soon you realize that Gattaca is a film with its own idea and ways of expressing it. All futuristic films in one way or another touch upon the question of the essence and abilities of a person. In Equilibrium, mind and feelings are spread across the scales; Gattaca cuts the given and the zeal in two.

In the world of the future, genetic scientists have learned to create an “ideal person” – biologically, he is much more predisposed to success and great achievements than a “random person” obtained in a natural way. The world has split into new classes, injustice and discrimination of a slightly different kind began to prevail in it than it is now. But, nevertheless, the person is still unhappy, and there are those who go against the system.

The rebellion here is not universal, the protagonist has no goal to change the world – he is driven by a passion to break out of the shackles himself. Since childhood, he was at the lowest rung of the social ladder, but he is ready for anything to climb it as high as he can and fulfill his cherished dream – to fly into space … But such people are not taken into astronauts, with shortness of breath and myopia.

Its formal opposite is Jerome – “an excellent sample” of human material, to whom feats and breakthroughs were written in the family. However, this Ilya Muromets steps under the car to sit in a wheelchair for thirty years and three years, helping the protagonist to lead everyone by the nose. When Jerome shows the silver medal, it becomes clear that he and Vincent have a lot in common. It is no coincidence that the two of them, as it were, experience one life, alternately taking the place of the other. The director’s decision not to divide the world into black and white, not to turn genetically ideal people into spiritual monsters is very correct. They are the same creatures of flesh and blood, because the fact of the matter is that flesh and blood do not solve anything …

Nikkol did not turn the film into a social reprisal, concentrating on the spiritual growth of the protagonist. It is noteworthy that the plot is devoid of any dynamics: we simply observe how Vincent slowly and stubbornly walks along the chosen path. Nevertheless, all the details, all the dialogues gradually open the viewer’s eyes to the true problems of the film and are no less exciting than the “scandals-intrigues-investigations”.

The love line turned out to be not entirely successful, in my opinion. Firstly, Uma Thurman did not fit into the image a little. She is good in the role of fatal seductresses or murderers – one way or another, she cannot remove the iron will from her eyes. And here she is almost a victim of circumstances, a “genetic product” with a flaw, and she doesn’t behave any bolder than a lamb. Perhaps it was for this role that it was worth choosing a slightly more feminine actress. In addition, the romantic line in this film adds almost nothing to the content and has no logical conclusion. Some sentimental young ladies may be offended that the main character flew away and did not promise to return, leaving the girl to be bored alone … Although the film, of course, is not about that at all.

An almost arthouse futuristic movie about fate, inner choices and the struggle for your dreams. A stunning acting duo between Ethan Hawke and Jude Law. Another copy to the collection.

This is a very dynamic and colorful cartoon. The protagonist Red (voiced by Diomid Vinogradov) is very charming and funny. The cartoon is very funny and funny. The roles were voiced by the stars of Russian show business: Timur Rodriguez, Sergey Burunov, Lisa Arzamasova. Arzamasova perfectly voiced Silver. She is so smart and funny at the same time. In the cartoon there is mind, there is kindness, there is naivety, there is love, there is corporate ethics, there is memory. In the cartoon there is a bit of everything. It is very good that such a warm cartoon (about warm edges) was shown in the summer (during holidays and vacations).

Feel the power of the cold: now it’s clear why the Zeta is like that. Jokes over the cold are very funny. I really liked the Zetas dog (it was so funny). In the cartoon a lot of good and situational jokes. This cartoon helps get rid of loneliness.

The cartoon is chic and very interesting. He is very dynamic and it’s so funny to watch him. The new island is new jokes. The holy war between birds and pigs is shown in all children’s ridiculous splendor.

The hardest review of my life, because a few weeks after watching the new animated Disney movie, I could not decide whether I liked it or not.

On the one hand, I am still impressed by the thoughtfulness of the world where events take place. It can be seen that the artists were inspired by the works of Osama Tetzuki about Astroboy and Metropolis. At the same time, they considered it simply too easy to copy the Japanese city of the future and, combining the Eastern style with American life, created something of their own, unlike anything else. The result is obvious, the city is the first to catch the eye. All streets, neighborhoods, restaurants and other places catch their eye and are imprinted in memory for a long time.

And the design of the characters, as well as their characters are also on top. Unless Hani Lemon, a bit like Rapunzel and Anna from the latest studio work, turned out to be a bit of a passing hero.

Of course, the Beimax robot is the most memorable character, since the entire advertising company was built on this cute, good-natured character so similar to the panda and Totoro.

But with all these pluses, I just could not understand what was stopping me from saying: “It’s just super! And then I came across a concept art, exhibited on the network. Among all these unrealized ideas like the geisha minions of the villain, many scenes showing how close the brothers were, all their inventions and other scenes, it finally dawned on me that I did not like the cartoon – its incompleteness.

A lot of ideas, marked at the very beginning, now and then pop up because of the plot bushes. The story of the villain does not fit in with the story of a boy who knew the bitterness of loss. The story of the protagonist is told at the very end, and despite the fact that I already knew his name in the first scene of the appearance of a masked man, the motivation is revealed at the very end. Hence the main problem of the film – we are not allowed to empathize.

A few strong and catchy scenes, the scriptwriters too abruptly replace the unreasonable humor. In the best traditions of the transition from the death of Bambi’s mother to singing birds, mourning is instantly replaced by a scene of a race for a clumsy robot, the disclosure of the death of a villain’s own man is a sudden scene of salvation. Is it really so bad to give children a moment to sympathize with the heroes ?!

And here it is also striking that all the bright characters do not in any way contact the robot Beimax. And judging by one single scene of a conversation with the butler, such scenes would be much more interesting than the eternal stuffing of the poor fellow in all kinds of cracks and kung fu lessons.

Bottom line: A good overall film, which did not have enough completeness to become a genius.

A few years ago, Christopher Miller and Phil Lord proved that with the right approach, even a designer’s advertisement in the form of a two-hour movie could turn into something truly exciting and creative. Having taken Lego World, a couple of talented guys used all the features of the designer to the fullest: they created a world that was ready to literally rebuild according to the wishes of the residents, and placed the most charming characters in its center. But Miller and the Lord stopped at the two most important things that became the pillars of the success of their cartoon. First, the eternal irony over everything around and most of all above itself: a ton of references to popular culture, jokes, making fun of themselves, banter over all the usual cliches and corrosive songs and much more that helped Lego Film to keep the viewer in the very joyful mood. Secondly, the skillful presentation of morality, which suddenly wrapped the designer’s world into children’s imagination, demonstratively demonstrating to the big man in a suit on the screen and other large and not so much viewers in front of the screen the importance of remaining in the soul of a child and realizing the importance of the family. Having ridiculed himself even before someone else decides on it, “Lego Film, using each familiar element in a new way, erected one of the most memorable cartoons of recent years on this mountain of postonion and optimism, forcing even in the saddest moments for some reason humming that everything is fine with us.

Therefore, there is no doubt that the tape will be able to amuse both the younger audience and the older audience, who also loves Michael Keaton in the role of Beatlejus. The great optimism with which the first part was charged remains here, but already being painted in slightly different shades. While one protagonist is trying to grow up with the help of the coolest guy with raptors, his closest girlfriend will gradually understand the fallacy of his past arguments, but in the end each of them will become more and more imbued with the value of friendship, understanding and, more important, hope. Of course, the main characters were subjected to such development, which is not surprising, in the first place, but the charm of Lego Film lies in its ability to keep it visible and to enable second-line characters to unfold, letting them spin in the thick of things. After all, here even the conquered Batman will be ready to sacrifice brutality and gloominess for the sake of the senses, and this is something that says so. This ability to be remembered also concerns the newcomers of the story being told, namely, to the highest degree, the main queen of the new universe. With just a couple of songs, she will make the audience be in her power, so that she can dance and hum for loud motives for a long time, thinking about the coolness of the Gotham guys. One by one, the heroes do not get tired to please the audience, so that at the end again, shifting the focus to the real world, move on to sentimental morality.

Lord and Miller are true to themselves and their structure: again, the story of the adventures of design people turns into a story about the importance of the family. “Lego Film-2, let it be literally, but with all sincerity and particularity, will speak about the importance of being able to get along with each other, the importance of understanding and kindness, as usual, having played beautifully what is happening in the real world through the prism of that designer. Perhaps, for this reason, perhaps, I want to praise the “Lego Film tirelessly. He could easily slip into self-parody, but he managed to hold on due to charm and surprisingly catchy self-irony. Unbridled optimism acquired new colors of hope, and friendship quite easily connected the universes. Contagiously musical, where even the song on the credits does not let go, but makes you listen to the text with a laugh, contagiously cheerful and cheerful and touchingly kind and sweet with all the same ingenious and magnificent inventive animation – this is the whole movie world. One has only to add a pinch of fantasy to this designer and see what can be achieved. And after such tapes, perhaps, everything is really wonderful with us.

Everything about this movie is simply outstanding. The dedication to certain jokes, their extreme, not-at-all drawn out choice of humor, and especially the story and characters. I honestly cannot recommend you and your friends, family, pets or conjoined twins to see this masterpiece enough.

These angry birds will make you happy.

I can not believe how happy I became after watching this excellent movie. Honestly speaking watching movies for children is a thing I rarely do. But after watching the amazing trailer I made up my mind I must see it .

Angry Birds is a very funny movie. We all need to laugh in these hard days because laughter makes our immunity high whereas sadness make our immunity weak .

The story of angry birds is about flightless birds who are happily living except for one who is called Red . Poor bird he can’t get over the daily problems that he has been facing in life. His angry temper made him attend management class, where he meets birds who have been suffering of disenchantment in life just like him (Chuck) and Bomb. Red becomes outraged when his other fellow birds welcome green pigs to their island paradise. As the swine begins to irritate him, angry bird Red teams with his other angry birds Chuck and Bomb to investigate the real reason behind the sudden occupation of the pigs.
You will enjoy an excellent movie with superior comedy, entertaining adventure and amazing 3 D from the beginning of this movie till the end.
This film is currently Number 1 in most countries and in the USA it went straight in at number 1 ( A proof this movie is successful and great).
