As a young boy Sammy, fascinated by ‘The Last Show on Earth’, begins to dream of filming in the big movie industry. In his early twenties he realizes that it’s not a hobby, but a real job. And art requires sacrifice. But who better than those closest to him to understand loss or lost dreams. The members of the Jewish family understand that their son has a great talent that will make a man out of him in the future.

The actors: among Hollywood’s terrific stars, Gabriel LaBelle stands out, whose portrayal of growing up Sammy grabs the attention from the first minutes of the film. The way he feels the frame, mounts the film, and tries to portray the shooting with the usual editing trickery is magic. That’s not to say the screen boy grew up, but he didn’t grow up. At least in the first half of the film. He goes slowly toward the realization that love (especially in his family) does not last forever, but that mother-son love will last. The slower he goes, the more he realizes that the motive to keep strong nerves, and the bond of kinship is also hard work. He has a choice to make, based on Uncle Boris’ instructions to his mother’s mother (played by Judd Hersh), whose appearance on the doorstep of the Fabelmans’ house (judging from a prophetic dream that does not bode well). Something about the dreams and hobbies Jud’s character understood, so he sets the boy on a path of true meaning. He would become the boy’s voice of conscience, and already Sammy would have to choose between art or loyalty to his family.

Paul Dano plays the head of an old-school family with outdated family traditions. The closer his character agonizes over not expressing it in emotion, keeping it all to himself and getting a little closer to the truth, the scarier his invisible observation of his wife becomes. He tries to be a role model for his children, having raised them with his wife. But no one tells him that there is another life, too. A fairy tale doesn’t always have to have a ‘happily ever after’. So from the breakup of the relationship he would just disappear. Neither would his dreams – sharing a couple with someone he trusted – he didn’t want to lose.

The brilliant starlet shining under the vaults of the car headlights was Michelle Williams, who proved that she is also a woman who demands her own happiness with her boundless soul.

The father of the Fabelman family, realizing that he will not become a role model or teach his wife to enjoy the simple little things in the quiet family circle, becomes an invisible participant in the affair, hovering over his beloved. Who but Benny embodies the stumbling block to Dano’s character, though he fits pleasantly into the family camp without much difficulty. Rogen’s comic image (finally applied in a dramatic film, not a comedy) can give the joy of life to a loved one, and another – to plunge into depression. Even though the family is religious, Seth’s character forgets an important commandment (I’m sure the Jews have a similar commandment): ‘Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.’ The hero merely reminds us that there is no such thing as a perfect marriage, and that love, like happiness, can appear out of nowhere.

Everything else: Certainly the maestro talks with Tony Kushner about what happened during his childhood years when he lived in Arizona. The story is not without moves that mark the boy’s future film-related career. From there, ‘The Fabelmans’ became a personal project for the director, and Stephen had been building the plot for years. It is quite that in the script, he spelled out the characters of his mother, his beloved uncle (played by Rogen), but do not forget about the sincerity of the picture. With what tenderness and love the author of the script and the director about his best years, when he took a portable camera and filmed everything that helped him, as well as the main character. Yes, he is the protagonist of the whole story. In part. Only while watching it, you don’t pay much attention to Spielberg’s resemblance to his screen protégé. You pay more attention to the brilliant close-up work and the rest of the setting around the characters: from her spontaneous trip to the tornado to the big movie theater, where many gathered to see the masterfully glued author’s work of the young talent. The film shows how each of us dreams about something. Someone achieves it, and someone does not get it, even though he tries a lot for the benefit of his family. Still, you can’t do without the support of your relatives. The son – goes the way of a cameraman and gradually gets closer to the cherished production; the mother – a unique queen of the stage has not lost her musical fervor (largely due to true love), but she had to give up the dream; the father – follows his outdated principles and does not stop working. The hero does everything to ennoble and strengthen the family nest (knowing deep down that it is useless) Each pursues his own goal. The bridge of family values, which for so long and persistently built around them, the hero can shake just because everyone is dreaming of his own thing. At the same time, no one thinks about what they will sacrifice in order to remain themselves and truly be a happy man.

This is Spielberg’s second self-produced (albeit co-authored) work since he made ‘Artificial Intelligence’ 21 years ago.

My tribute to Janusz Kaminski, who showed all the most memorable moments (still more memorable is the scene where Michelle Williams dances through the headlights).

Every tune played on the piano by Williams’ character is captivating and beckoning (even in the disturbing moments during Sammy’s film development). One would like to believe that despite the well-deserved departure of John Williams (perhaps this film and the fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ film will be the last of his career) working with Spielberg 29 times will turn out worthy.

The project was produced by Christy Makosko with Tony Kushner and Spielberg.

Impressions: Stephen’s drama, which premiered in Toronto, is worth a look if you’re curious to see what the director’s aspirations were based on, backed by Kushner’s scripted fiction. There is a sincere, interesting and relaxed atmosphere to the film. And Williams’ music tries to carry you along, quietly encouraging you to see it through to the end.

There are such perfect adaptations of great works in world cinema that the idea of re-adapting them seems ridiculous. It is unlikely that in the future we will see a new version of “Gone with the Wind” or “To Kill a Mockingbird” – even though the existing films are many decades old, from today’s perspective there is little to add to them anyway. “West Side Story” 1961 is one of them, too. That adaptation is completely redundant, perfect, and a perfect cinematic embodiment of the musical by the great Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.

The very news of a re-enactment of the story of New York’s Romeo and Juliet made one tense. And it’s not because Steven Spielberg, even though he is a great director, but has no experience with musicals, and in general in recent years, frankly gave up. This film doomed itself in absentia to be compared not only with the old version, but also with countless stage productions of the musical. To solve this problem, an entirely different approach had to be chosen, but whether Spielberg managed to find one remains a question…

If we take apart the new film into separate elements, many of them are close to perfection. From the opening minutes, Janusz Kaminski’s camera does incredible things, enlivening the slums of New York and dancing along with the dancers. Almost all of the actors look great, and, what’s the harm, fit their roles much better than their predecessors in 1961 (sorry, Natalie Wood). Riff, Bernardo and Anita, who have always been the best characters in this story, are peerless together and individually. Ariana BeDos is the star of the picture and seems to be the lead actress of all the new musicals (in the last year alone, she appeared in Ryan Murphy’s “The Graduate” and the lovely series “Schmigadoon!”). Without Rita Moreno in a symbolic role, it’s as if the film wouldn’t work at all – if Spielberg had also persuaded George Chakiris to stop by for a minute, fans of the old picture would have choked with nostalgia.

There’s only one casting blunder, but it’s a very big one. It’s Ansel Elgort in the title role. Even though Tony and Maria are the main characters in the story, more often than not, the background completely distracts from them, so only talented and charismatic actors could have fixed that. And while it worked with Maria (debutante Rachel Segler is charming, well acted and sings beautifully), Tony pulls the film down. Elgort’s acting abilities have raised questions before, and here he’s supposed to be the emotional center of the drama, making the viewer believe in this little believable 24-hour love story. Even the extended backstory of the character doesn’t help – the actor lacks charisma, self-expression and, indeed, vocal data. The classic songs in his performance sound sluggish and lack personality. Because of this suffers from his on-screen “chemistry” with Zegler, and some joint scenes the actress has to openly pull alone.

Took to rewrite the script Tony Kushner added a lot of new details and strengthened the agenda, which in “West Side Story” and has always been in place. In some places, these innovations look good, but more often than not they seem to deliberately stretch out the already rather small timeline and make you a little bored. Many of the dialogues are written as if for a tick and serve only to fill the time between songs and dances. The musical numbers are reimagined, by the way, very well done. Some were perfectly refreshed (“America” took on new colors, “Gee, Officer Krupke” had a wonderful buffoonery, letting Rita Moreno sing “Somewhere” is one of the best decisions in the movie), some were given very strange elements (there is no reason why “Cool” should be sung by Tony), but the tunes and lyrics by Bernstein and Sondheim have already outgrown the musical and gone into popular use.

Even though there’s a lot of decently done stuff, this movie didn’t work for me. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t compare to the old “West Side Story,” where all the components, not even the most perfect ones, worked in powerful symbiosis with each other and gave birth to the magic that is in every good musical. And without that magic, without a lucid Tony and with a lot of unnecessary digressions, the new picture becomes just another version of the same old story about a hasty one-day affair of teenagers that got too many people killed. Even if fantastically beautifully filmed.

When, in 1973, the idea arose in his head to make a series of films about an archaeological scientist looking around the world for priceless and lost historical artifacts, no one in this world could even imagine that 35 years later, a multi-million army of fans of this amazing adventure epic would be with with great impatience to wait for such a long-awaited continuation of the original trilogy, counting the days and hours until the premiere in anticipation of the great and grandiose – in anticipation of an amazing adventure!

Time is running inexorably forward! A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since the release of the last part of the epic trilogy about the adventures of Indiana Jones. Actors age, and with them the heroes of the film inevitably age, losing irrevocably their former youth, but acquiring something more valuable and necessary at their disposal.

Harrison Ford is the same beloved Indiana Jones, a little older and grayer, but retaining all the best and adored by all fans without exception, adding new horizons to this rich and well-established image, tirelessly giving out to all enemies what they deserve , proving to all skeptics and doubters that he still has “gunpowder in powder flasks” and that the years have not deprived him of that amazing charm, one has only to take off the strict university costume of Professor Henry Jones Jr., and put on the adored and extremely recognizable in all countries of the world , only in silhouette, hat!

But whatever his heroic image is, we must all understand that he can no longer destroy his enemies alone, and the Hollywood conveyor dictates its own conditions, forcing, having resigned himself to the inevitability of the situation in modern cinema, to invite to another important role in the film one of the idols of teenagers and the future star – Shia LaBeouf, who, by the way, perfectly coped with the task set before him, diluting the old-fashioned jokes of Professor Jones with his sparkling and relevant humor, combined with the unsurpassed comicity of some situations, adding a very impressive army to the audience seats young viewers who have seen, for the most part, old films, but do not relate to them the way representatives of the older generation do, who also did not remain deprived and had the opportunity to get great pleasure from the very unexpected, but therefore even more pleasant return of Karen Allen in the role of Marion Ravenwood, bringing into it an incredible my entourage and soulfulness of the very first film of the trilogy.

Comedy and humor, laughter and irony – everything remained in its place, having received a good increase in its asset in the form of the main enemy, which, if not considered from the point of view of spitting towards our proud state, looks very ironic and funny, but in its own chiefs has a charming Cate Blanchett, dressed in a uniform a la “long forgotten 50s”, with a classic buckle on the belt and, causing nothing more than an idyllic smile, the inscription on the back – USSR! In addition, the authors did not apply to honor the memory of those who have not been with us for a long time, and those who, for one reason or another, could not take part in this project, but whose merit in the face of fans is undeniable, bringing notes of touching nostalgia, and invisible, barely noticeable parallel …

The only thing that, perhaps, you shouldn’t even try to do while sitting in the armchair of the cinema hall is to look down on this film, tightly ‘sealing’ it to the original trilogy, which has long gone beyond the scope of a simple masterpiece, and has become a truly cult film, united in several generations of spectators, connoisseurs and admirers!

If you try to do this, you will be thrown far beyond the understanding and realization that today history is happening before our eyes, like the handprint of famous actors, immortalizing in the memory of descendants this film work, which, over the years, has not lost its charm, charm, subtle and clever humor, as well as an incredible spirit of adventure, unjustifiably forgotten for long 19 years, but by the will of fate and providence itself, returned to our screens to, as before, gather a surprisingly diverse audience in the halls, once again proving its universality of the chosen direction and genre.

Critics and reviewers – don’t rush to go to the movies! Finish all your urgent business, sort out all the issues and problems on the agenda at the moment, because you can always find a couple of free hours of your precious time to evaluate this film with a dry and sane mind, finding in it, with all its visible and obvious advantages, a bunch of minuses and shortcomings in the script, storyline and, perhaps, even in the game of the main characters, and smashing it “to smithereens” is your right!

Fans and admirers – drop everything and run to the cinemas, for it is extremely rare that we get that cherished chance to be present at a historical moment! Turn off your brains and turn on emotions, and I am absolutely sure that you will get great and incomparable pleasure from watching this undeniably grandiose adventure epic, worthy to take its place of honor on the shelf with your favorite films, once again proving that time has no power over the eternal !

Well, now ask me what a person needs to be happy – and I’ll answer you: just see on the screen such a familiar and so desirable silhouette of a man in a hat, which, to the accompaniment of a simple, unpretentious and at the same time ingenious melody, at the sounds of which the eyes are welling tears and incredible pride and immeasurable respect appear in my soul, she will snap a whip, hit her fist, defeat all enemies and, having obtained a priceless historical artifact, will mentally tell us all from the screen – I have returned … I have returned to bring to your homes, souls and hearts the best, bright and desired – positive emotions and crazy adventures that we all have been waiting for for 19 long years, but – it was worth it!

It was worth it to buy your cherished ticket after anxious waiting, and plunging into the darkness of the cinema hall again feel that long-forgotten, and at the same time never unforgettable feeling of touching the legend, so that after two hours, leaving the cinema in the company of such unfamiliar, but at the same time already family and people close to you, with full confidence and being aware of the public to declare – today I am truly happy …

The most fantastic, the most incredible, the most improbable and at the same time the most technically perfect, the most spectacular, the most spectacular, the most exciting and … the most fun part of the famous franchise about the adventures of a restless archaeologist.

Steven Spielberg and George Lucas did their best to create the third part of ‘Indiana’ so as to honorably complete the film series and remain in the people’s memory as the creators of one of the brightest and most even series of the magnificent trilogy. The film is almost perfect – it is a perfect adventure film, without which it is probably impossible to imagine the youth of the early 90s. And now the tape looks surprisingly fresh and much more exciting than modern blockbusters.

The film has a surprisingly light and unbelievable script, which at the same time manages to avoid stretching, overlap and sagging. The film has a frantic pace, it simply does not give a break for a second, it transfers from one adventure to another, even more dangerous and interesting. This is what I call drive. It is simply impossible to get bored with this film!

This film, the only one from the movie series, has turned into almost a full-fledged adventure comedy – funny dialogues, comical positions, funny skirmishes are poured off the screen, despite the fact that, like any adventure film, ‘Indiana’ is accompanied by violence, love, death, – it remains the ideal film for both adults and children. It has an atmosphere of mesmerizing, breathtaking adventures, mystical secrets, real heroes and an endless pursuit of something inexplicable. Excellent scenery, special effects, costumes, heroes help to recreate this atmosphere …

Like any other Spielberg film, everything here is calculated and verified to the millimeter. Of course, the king of Hollywood was most likely in charge of the usual commercial calculation, but if the mainstream reaches such a level as ‘Indiana’, I am with both hands and feet for such a mainstream!

The film invites us to zip along with Indiana Jones, played by the unfading Harrison Ford, between cities and countries, between continents, and even between times. This time, it was not a woman who, of course, was necessarily present, and a woman insanely beautiful, but on the dark, alas, side, but his own father, who fell into his assistants.

The introduction of the absent-minded and typically ‘armchair’ scientist Henry Jones into the narrative and his running around with his son for the Holy Grail, apparently, decided the fate of the film. The skirmishes between father and son Jones would do the honor of any sitcom. Of course, the fact that Sir Sean Connery himself appeared in the role of the father – the actor is not only charismatic, but also really talented, so this time Ford had a solid rear.

However, as always in such films, there are many other equally colorful secondary characters and gigantic extras that Spielberg cannot do without.

The film is effective, spectacular, beautiful, fast, enchanting. This is a real masterpiece of the genre and one of the best in the treasury of the great director. He has won audience love all over the world since its inception, but even now it can quite successfully compete with the audience with dumb, albeit more spectacular, but some kind of dead blockbusters. Indiana is alive, real, spontaneous, sincere, passionate. Unfortunately, modern cinema is very poor in such heroes. Therefore, they now decide to resurrect this classic image, because no one has occupied its niche, and one wants to continue the adventure!

A stunning sequel to one of the most perfect adventure films in cinema history, created, like the first film, by the great storyteller and eternal child Steven Spielberg. Fairy tale is the defining word when trying to understand the image of Indiana Jones. And there is no point in arguing that a frail hero would never have defeated a Hindu thug, that a Chinese boy could not kick the guards with his feet, and that drought-complaining rednecks fished Indiana Jones out of a completely full-flowing river just a stone’s throw from their dried-up village. …

This is just a fairy tale – the same one, from boyish fantasies, where there are no boundaries to adventure, from a childhood dream, where a child can easily control his heroes and make them do the most reckless things, while be sure to keep alive … this is a fairy tale where universal evil will be defeated by a courageous and unshaven hero who cheerfully makes his way over the corpses of enemies to the cherished goal …

Steven Spielberg knows how to captivate – there are a lot of absurdities in his picture, but you don’t notice it. This is a sequel, but you don’t notice this either, perhaps it even surpassed the original. This tale is characterized by the dynamics of a cool action movie, the special effects of a comic blockbuster, the interweaving of reality and fiction, legends and reality. Spielberg’s film is fascinating, it is a delightful show full of mystical secrets and mysteries, it looks like an entertaining and entertaining quest where the hero gets from error to error, overcoming obstacles to his goal, of course, noble and pure.

Indiana Jones is an ideal childhood hero, the whole trilogy is a hymn to childhood, youth, their symbol. Although the film will also be watched with pleasure by adults.

The budget of the second film has increased compared to the first by only 10 million, but this is very noticeable – the film has become simply incredibly spectacular: wild forests, underground caves and maharajah palaces, abandoned villages and deep mines with tumbling trolleys, suspension bridges – all the attributes of an adventure film look and now bewitching! There are constant brawls in the film, dangerous stunts, beautiful costumes, tingling moments, a lot of juicy humor and, of course, the obligatory fabulous happy ending.

The acting and the script, of course, are not at a great height, but the requirements for them are also small. The main thing is to be fun, beautiful and correct. Harrson Ford is very charming and heroic, in his eyes you can see the childish enthusiasm, which Spielberg probably sought. He plays with light irony towards his hero, not seriously. He will always have the obligatory pretty girl and the obligatory charismatic villain. But I never saw Dan Aykroyd in the film. I love it very much, and I notice it even in small episodes, but here, after so many views, I never saw it …

Do not look for philosophical depths in this film. All that is required of you here is imagination and a passion for adventure. For people with both, this film is simply flawless! A masterpiece of the genre!

Other heroes came, new faces filled the screens, adventure began to be understood as an abundance of special effects and nothing more, much is outdated and faded, but Indiana Jones has not aged and has not faded for a quarter of a century. Like 27 years ago, people still cling to screens to look at one of the brightest adventure films in the history of cinema and at their favorite hero, they still applaud the crazy ideas and dangerous adventures of the guy in the same hat with puppy delight. the same whip. I share their delight!

Why? Because we have before us a reference adventure film, shot by the king of the genre, Steven Spielberg. The film is absolutely timeless – Spielberg did not modernize the action, he removed it from the then viewer, but placed it in such attractive places that the film looks great at any time. The Amazon jungle is always teeming with dangers, ancient temples are always interesting, the Nazis with their atrocities and blockheads to conquer the world by any means is a byword. Cairo will always remain a city of pyramids that have buried great treasures and terrible secrets, and archaeologists – heroic discoverers. With such settings, the film will not grow old for another hundred years!

A film for all ages – it has an atmosphere of youth, childish enthusiasm, there is some kind of naivety, a thirst for discovery that all children experience. This is a film for teenagers, which, nevertheless, perfectly helps adults to feel like children again. Therefore, he struck right here too. This is a real family movie, which Spielberg has always been great at.

The film is imbued with an atmosphere of mystery, mystery, and this is one of the greatest incentives for people to read books, watch a movie or go on a journey. Spielberg opens before us a completely different world – the world of ideal heroes, a world where real history intersects with mysticism, where historical names and dates are mentioned, but they are shrouded in fantasies. This creates an additional pungent sensation. Indeed, for teenagers all over the world, Indiana Jones is an almost real character who once really acted in the situations shown.

Only a very good writer and a very good director can bring their characters to life like that. Spielberg is not only a good director, but also an eternal child. As a 12-year-old boy, he, too, dreamed of dangerous adventures, of lost temples, and of going through a myriad of trials.

We all dreamed, dreamed, and many future directors, but Spielberg is one of the few who, having come to the cinema, began to embody their childhood fantasies in an accessible and fascinating form. Surely he saw himself in these adventures, because it is difficult to believe that the film follows a dead script – it moves straight out of childhood fantasies, like a sweet dream of a boy who reads Wells or Vern for the night.

And the hero is perfect. Everyone needs an ideal hero as a child. Indiana Jones has become a role model for millions of boys in America and in the world, because he is honest, simple, noble, fearless, loving danger, reckless, and most importantly, he is the same boy – a dreamer and fidget, like themselves. He is always active, always in the thick of things, always surrounded by dangers, but he gets out of the worst of them easily and naturally, as if he knows everything in advance. He is smart enough to get out of the basements of the ancient pyramids, he easily dodges darts and his hat never goes off on the run, because he is a hero!

And Harrison Ford embodied the image of such a kid hero – with a naive smile, with uncertain relationships with women, but with a very definite passion for science and adventure. His absolutely organic behavior in the proposed circumstances, one hundred percent coincidence of the character of the hero and the personal, emotional characteristics of the young actor – made him a favorite of the audience, despite the fact that the actor did not even need to squeeze out of himself any strong game.

The hero should have a bright and one-sided type, which Ford recreated brilliantly: passionate, impulsive. Now it is difficult to imagine someone else in his place, but in fact the casting did not go so smoothly: Tim Matheson, Nick Mancuso and Peter Coyote auditioned for the role of Indiana. Spielberg himself favored Klaus Kinski and Nick Nolte. But both refused to act. It was only then that Harrison Ford appeared in the project, just 3 weeks before filming began. Spielberg, however, made the perfect choice, making the actor famous throughout the world. He then had to fight off the image of Indiana Jones for a very long time, proving that he is capable of more, and in vain, being the hero of all children and adolescents is also not bad.

Like any normal hero, Indiana was supposed to have a girlfriend. Sean Young, Amy Irving and Debra Winger auditioned for her role. The role went to Karen Allen. The slightly manly, freckled beauty was well suited for Jones, who was not particularly thinking about women. In their relationship there is not even a hint of sexuality, intimacy, as in all Spielberg’s films – women play only the role of a kind of background, because boy heroes like Jones do not need families and lovers. They are always obsessed with their childish ideas. They have no time for women.
The film, among other things, has a lot of common sense humor that dilutes the dangerous environment.

The villainous environment is also pleasantly pleasing – Wolf Kahler is a sadistic killer, Ronald Lacey is an executive major Thoth, Paul Freeman is Dr. Belloc, Alfred Molina is a traitorous guide … However, Spielberg always manages, even at the last moment, to find the best actors.

And of course, what is Spielberg without special effects? Special effects, fights, dynamic chases lay on the adventures of Indiana – the tempo of the film is incredible – one adventure follows another, mystical riddles and their equally fascinating solutions are pouring into the audience almost without a break.

They say that Spielberg was very afraid for the success of his brainchild, thinking that while shooting such a children’s film, he was shooting a category “B” tape. But it turned out that while filming his childhood dreams, he guessed the dreams of millions of people on the globe and the film became the loudest event of 1981. And he also grabbed 5 Oscars. Agree, not bad for a childish craft?

By the way, the continuation of the famous franchise is successfully going on in cinemas. And I’m incredibly happy about this: some part of my soul still longs for the continuation of the adventures, they turned out to be painfully cool. It’s hard not to love this hero, and it’s hard not to admire this film, before us is one of the cult films of the 80s, an almost perfect adventure film that has become a legend. And, even if childhood has passed, it can still return when he again appears on the screen – the unsinkable hero from boyish fantasies.

Steven Spielberg – you are powerful

So, I’m sorry, this introductory poem spun in the language. I couldn’t tear myself away from the film, intriguing these triplets. It seemed that the film was watched for the sake of the hero Cruise – that’s who I truly felt sorry for. First, children came to him who, to put it mildly, see the cons in everything. You see, mom has a wonderful sponsor who bought them and did them. Then, it turns out that poor dad was not there when he was needed, etc. On the head of a lonely man problems climb. A son who does not want to understand his father. A daughter who from the very beginning tries to show her psychological abilities and tells Cruz that he is wrong with a boy. Is that you, the boy is found, behind which the father must run from behind.

Okay, all egoists, it won’t be about that. But I was mildly surprised when, during times of danger, the children start yelling at daddy, given that before that he had seen enough of alien creatures. The son appears FIG-knows-from where a sharp attack of heroism. Half of the film, he proves that he is a comic book man with superpower. With a daughter, things are no better. I understand that the poor child is scared – naturally, a miracle with three legs runs after you ten times more than you do – but it’s not a matter of constantly hysteria and screaming. Do not scream, do not cry, namely, screaming in full throat and bring to white heat and so nervous father.

But, these feelings were triggered by the heroes, but not like the cast. What kind of installation they gave – this is what they did. Tom Cruise played a normal person, with real emotions and with a true point of view on life. E-mine, what kind of people are around, if you want to save children, and yourself, your beloved, too? I liked Fanning with Chatwin, Miranda Otto, who was known to me only by the Lord of the Rings, was very pleased. In my opinion, the cast is picked up with a bang and there’s nothing to argue with. They played well, but I already said about their heroes.

Spielberg is a brilliant director, in his film such genres as fiction, action and adventure have gathered. The dramatic line is deeply developed. The script is interesting, the moments associated with the life of the tripodes, their way of removing unnecessary people are especially attractive, I can even say that the characters in people are clearly expressed by their actions, the end was generally surprised. The only thing that was not to their liking – the scene with Robbinson dragged on.

In general, the film is very good, no doubt, I liked it.

Jaws is an undeniably cult film from cult director Steven Spielberg. To think only 36 years have passed since the release of this, without exaggeration, a great picture, now Stephen knows almost any movie fan, for me this is the best director in the world, but in those days, Stephen did not find such popularity as he has now.

Jaw, in my opinion, is his first masterpiece, of course, many may disagree, because now you won’t be surprised with such films, now films are made with huge budgets and with a lot of action and special effects, but I personally think that Stephen made the best movie about sharks, about the bloodthirsty cannibal monster who arranged a hunt for people. I decided to revisit the favorite movie of many moviegoers again and you know a lot of emotions even now, of course it’s not scary, but in places it’s scary, especially in the end it’s been seen dozens of times, but it’s quite scary to watch the Shark devour a person. I love this film for its simplicity, everything was done very high quality and tastefully, excellent music, I would call it very mysterious and awesome, and of course the game of the actors is very impressive, everyone who played special respect deserves me, even the victims really impressed me, they don’t seem to have much time, but they very realistically fulfill those small minutes that they have, if now everything looks very played up and corny, then more than 30 years ago everything looks pretty realistic, the feeling that I’m watching newsreels doesn’t leave me vital and realistic.

I would like to pay special attention to the shark because of which this whole amazing story begins, if you watch current films about sharks, then only one negative comes to mind, those sharks that now show us only a huge portion of laughter and look like a doll in the Jaws But the Shark is very smart, it dulled a little bit only at the end, and then this controversial point of view, you look at the Shark and even at the very sight of it becomes a little creepy, imagine that if you ever meet this “miracle” and it becomes uneasy, but I can imagine what emotions moviegoers had when this film was just released. This is, without exaggeration, a great film. Stephen is a great master, a great director and a wonderful person sure, I think such films will be reviewed and revised, he made candy from the budget of 7 million dollars, although it must be admitted that the budget is quite a bit too big up to that time.

I would like to note especially Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and of course Richard Dreyfuss, each character was amazing in his own way, the Sheriff did not give up and walked to the end and showed the initiative to save the inhabitants from the bloodthirsty monster, Richard’s hero was obsessed with Sharks and it was a duty to him to repulse the bloodthirsty monster, well, the hero of Roy, of course, lived only by killing the Sharks and joking and humming a lot.

I consider this movie without flaws.
