Dennis Clegg, nicknamed Spider, spent many years in a mental hospital after being diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child. He is finally allowed to be released, but Dennis is not yet ready to live on his own. He wanders the once-native streets and tries to reconstruct the chain of events that led to his hospitalization.
