Small-time thief Fred steals important documents from a certain VIP. The rich man’s wife, Helena, takes charge of negotiating the terms for returning the papers, but her meeting with the thief arouses her keen interest in this charming trickster. Now she feels at home where he lives—in the catacombs of the Paris metro. Her enraged husband lets her go, but first he has to deal with the gang of underground dwellers.
