Pete and Freddy are two unlucky treasure hunters traveling through Egypt. Having spent all their money, they set out to find work so they can earn enough to return to the US. Pete overhears Dr. Gustav Zumer looking for “two reliable assistants” to help him transport the mummy of Princess Clarice to the US. Freddy and Pete have no idea that a group of villains led by Madame Rontru are planning to steal the mummy and its jewels, including a sacred medallion wrapped around its neck. Another group consists of worshippers of the pharaoh cult led by the high priest Simo and seeks to keep their guru in Egypt. They want to take possession of Princess Clarice’s body to return it to its place. On the way, Dr. Zumer and other archaeologists are found dead, and the mummy disappears…
