Grace, having escaped from a gang of gangsters, finds refuge in the small town of Dogville somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. The locals—each one more beautiful than the next—are willing to hide her. In return, they ask for nothing, except perhaps some help around the house or looking after the children. But gradually, the charming Dogville turns into a prison for the girl.
