Commodore Kate Bowman and her crew are on the first ever manned flight to Mars. Earlier, probes dropped algae on the planet to enrich the atmosphere with oxygen. At first, it seemed like the plan worked, but then the oxygen level suddenly dropped. The crew decides to find out why.
