A maniac nicknamed Saw is slowly dying. To prolong his existence, Saw’s loyal assistant Amanda kidnaps Dr. Lynn and puts a device around her neck that threatens to blow her head off the moment the killer’s heart stops. In the struggle for her life, Lynn has to repeatedly pull her constantly choking and suffocating tormentor back from the brink of death. But his victims, who die a cruel death for their sins, cannot be brought back.
