1949. The small Californian town of Santa Rosa. Ed, a quiet barber, dreams of starting his own business, and the opportunity arises when a businessman offers him a share in a new chain of dry cleaners. It’s a new and profitable venture, but Ed doesn’t have the money. He decides to get the necessary amount from his boss, who is sleeping with Ed’s wife. But the adventure does not lead to anything good.
