Sylvia, a young scientist (Mimsy Farmer), lives in a luxurious apartment next to her friend Francesca and some friendly elderly people. She has a boyfriend, Roberto. It’s a normal, quiet life… One day at a party, one of her guests, Professor Andy, talks about a cult of sacrifice, secret rituals, and the influence of black magic, saying that a person can quietly go mad without even realizing it. Shortly after the conversation, Sylvia begins to hallucinate, seeing images of her mother, who died under mysterious circumstances. The young woman begins to be haunted by nightmares and horrors, and she loses control of reality. The viewer, along with the heroine, is unable to distinguish between visions and what is really happening… Phantom girls, bloody murders, a sinister conspiracy… The tension mounts…
