Film description

In Texas, police discovered 33 mutilated human bodies on the farm of Thomas Hewitt, an ordinary slaughterhouse worker. The horrific discovery shocked people and was called the most gruesome mass murder of all time. Newspapers wrote: “A house of terror on a national scale. A massacre in Texas.” The press dubbed the killer “The Man with the Leather Face.” Local authorities shot and killed a man wearing a leather mask. The case was closed. But in the years that followed, a series of murders showed that the police had found the wrong criminal. A witness who happened to survive told the true story of what really happened on an abandoned Texas highway when five teenagers found themselves trapped by a madman with a chainsaw…
