The three brothers Francis, Peter, and Jack Whitman haven’t seen or talked to each other for a whole year, since their dad’s funeral. Francis, who’s the oldest and used to make all the decisions, decides they should go to India. Francis learned that their long-lost mother lives in a monastery at the foot of the Himalayas, and he intends to find her. However, the brothers have no idea where they are going. The official reason is the search for enlightenment. However, first they need to learn to get along with each other.
