Saw is dead, but his legacy lives on. In the stomach of the deceased, Detective Hoffman discovers a cassette tape with the rules for the next game. His partner Rigg joins the game and has only ninety minutes to save Detective Eric Matthews. FBI agents join the investigation and frantically try to piece together all the pieces of the puzzle and predict the next move of the dead but still deadly maniac.
