While carrying out an assignment, hitman A Jong (Chow Yun-Fat) accidentally blinds Jenny (Sally Yeh), a nightclub singer. Wanting to make amends for his mistake and pay for the girl’s treatment, A Jong takes on another job. Meanwhile, police inspector Lee (Danny Lee) is hot on the criminal’s trail. But when he realizes that A Jong is motivated by righteous intentions, the policeman decides to help the hitman. Especially since the latter is being hunted by his former accomplices.
