A wealthy local businessman, Grant Grant (Michael Rooker), becomes infected with the slime and begins to mutate into a carnivorous creature with an insatiable urge to reproduce. Gradually, the alien slime spreads faster and faster, infecting everyone Grant comes into contact with.
