Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro. There, she reunites with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married. However, Sidney’s arrival triggers the return of the Masked Man, and the town is once again plunged into fear.
