Young and wealthy Ann marries a penniless reporter, Stew Smith. His newspaper colleague Gallagher is very upset about the marriage, because she was in love with Stew, was always by his side, helping him in his work. One day she gathers her colleagues and persuades them to throw a party for Stew by going to his house. In the middle of the party, the landlady shows up and kicks the uninvited guests out. Her husband leaves with everyone else, but Ann is sure to get him back….
