An eccentric comedy parodying spy movies. An American rock ‘n’ roller comes to Berlin for a cultural festival. Although it takes place in socialist Germany, the military here for some reason wears Nazi uniforms. Underground Resistance groups (French for some reason) are active in the country. In general, one silliness is piled on top of another, which causes almost continuous laughter. The movie’s soundtrack includes, by the way, some great songs from the ’60s, like songs by the Beach Boys and Elvis Presley.
