Roger Thornhill, a successful advertising agent and a very busy man, once felt a gun pointed at his back and two young men ordered him to get into a car, and then in an unfamiliar country house began to call him Mr. Kaplan for some reason and demanded that he tell everything he knows. Discouraged Roger has no choice but to flee, which he does, and, by chance, in the dining car of the train, a lovely woman named Eve helps Roger escape from his pursuers. Thornhill falls in love with Eve, but she turns out not to be who she says she is.
So begins to tie a tight knot in the plot of the movie and the whole incomprehensible, confusing, ironic and terrible story of the great master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock.
