Film description

“Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors” is a classic horror anthology film released in 1965, directed by Freddie Francis. The movie centers around a group of strangers who find themselves aboard a mysterious train, where they encounter the enigmatic Dr. Schreck (played by Peter Cushing). As the train hurtles through the night, Dr. Schreck offers to read the tarot cards of each passenger, revealing their darkest fears and deepest secrets.

The film is divided into five segments, each showcasing a different tale of terror. From voodoo curses to malevolent plant life, each story is filled with suspense, twists, and chilling atmosphere. Other segments include “Voodoo,” where a musician (played by Roy Castle) finds himself cursed after stealing a tribal idol, “Disembodied Hand,” where an art critic (played by Christopher Lee) faces the wrath of a vengeful severed hand, and “Vampire,” where a doctor (played by Donald Sutherland) uncovers a sinister plot in a small village.
