The family has learned a whole complex of special gestures that help them communicate with each other without issuing a single sound. In addition, each family member must move very quietly so that dangerous creatures do not hear them. However, the house where children live can not be the quietest place on earth.
4k movie reviews
The man was always haunted by fear, which was the basis for the birth of such genres as thriller and horror along with no less than the eternal need for spectacles. And the horrors were able to tickle nerves perfectly, speculating with the fear of a person before death or unknown, while quenching the thirst for entertainment. But, as mankind is constantly evolving, the viewer becomes more demanding: all the famous horror techniques, screamers, story twists, dismemberment, suspense and even entire subjects quickly became obsolete, and by the 90s only smiles aroused, and to zero they completely ceased to awaken any emotions. Actor John Krasinski with the team of script writers was determined to change this situation and as befits any loud resurrection of the genre, the “Quiet Place 4K” used an element of surprise, shooting just when no one expected anything from the dying genre.
The plot introduces the viewer to the family, who lives on a farm in the suburbs. Occasionally, the family is selected to the nearest town, in which there are practically no signs of life. The reason for this are certain creatures that live in the neighborhood and react to sound. And that they did not hear, it is necessary to behave very quietly, which is quite difficult if the family has small children.
John Krasinski followed in his work the correct classical reception of thrillers – the maintenance of suspense, from the first frames simultaneously intriguing the viewer and justifying the title of the picture. Silence is gold and the main characters are familiar with this saying not by hearsay and in order to survive they are forced to communicate in sign language, walk barefoot and follow each other. Throughout the film UHD, you often catch yourself thinking that sitting in front of the screen themselves involuntarily put your index finger to your lips – so excellent in the picture suspense, which draws attention to the very finale. Do not know how to live a deaf teenager in an atmosphere of constant danger – the director will skillfully immerse you in the very epicenter of such horror. The actress’s play of the couple Krasinski-Blunt along with the rest of the cast creates incredible chemistry and highlights individual emotional moments, adding elements of drama to the genre, especially and not in need of the latter. And in general, the “Quiet Place Ultra HD” in irony became a fairly sensational breakthrough at the crossroads of the genres of horror and post-apocalyptic thriller and, it would seem, irreproachable, were it not for the dissatisfaction of some viewers with relatively small blunders, inconsistencies and illogical events on the screen. Yes, the picture Krasinski – a film 4K without a beginning and end, which remains undisclosed, no prehistory, or details that can explain the situation in the setting and plot of the picture. But, if we recall that the narrative is conducted through the prism of perception of what is happening by the main characters who know nothing about the creatures that are threatening or about the history of the catastrophe that has arisen, everything begins to seem quite logical: Krasinsky equalizes the viewer and the characters forced to content themselves with scraps of information newspaper clippings – a very cunning director’s reception. Perhaps in the sequel all these grains help to build a complete story puzzle. And in anticipation of the continuation, it remains to applaud standing to one of the most striking events of the cinematic semester, capable of making the sound more afraid of silence than of silence.
