“Point Break” (1991) is a movie about the borderline between law and adrenaline. Director Kathryn Bigelow presents the exciting world of extreme sports and the underworld. The main character, FBI agent Johnny Utah, embodied by Patrick Swayze, plunges into the dangerous underground world of surfing to track down a gang of radical criminals committing robberies wearing masks of U.S. presidents. His partner is the kinetic agent Papa Roach, played by Keanu Reeves. Exciting scenes of surfing, parachute jumping and motorcycle racing are accompanied by intrigue, betrayal and sudden plot twists. “Point Break” is not just an action movie, but a vivid embodiment of the spirit of freedom and boundary-seeking in an adrenaline-charged life.
