Gangster Buddy Israel agrees to cooperate with the FBI and testify against his Mafia cronies. A large reward of a million dollars is set for his life by a mob boss, and Buddy is in real danger of losing his life before the trial even begins.
Protection of Israel is entrusted to two agents of the FBI – Messner and Carruthers, who have a difficult task to protect an important witness from hired killers. But the work of the agents is complicated by the fact that Buddy himself is not used to sitting in four walls, and stubbornly seeks to appear in crowded places and attract public attention.

Smokin Aces
A couple of years ago I saw a commercial for the movie Trump Aces on TV, wasn’t particularly impressed and decided not to go to the movies after all, and for nothing. I missed out on one of the best action movies of the last few years. It has everything to love a good movie: An interesting plot, vivid characters, an unexpected ending, and black humor. Buddy Israil’s heart has a reward of $1 million. The money is serious and assassins of all kinds and calibers come to one place, hoping to get the cherished money. At this point, such a mess begins that it really blows your mind.
The Tremor Brothers
It’s no coincidence that I started with these towerless neo-Nazis. Some will like them, some will despise them, but I certainly liked them. First of all – they are played by great actors. Secondly – They are really nuts in the head. The only one who is capable of making any kind of decision is Darwin Tremor, and if you remember his monologue with the dead man? Isn’t that the epitome of black humor? Simply put, these guys made a mess of things and it’s even a little sad that they all went to hell.
Lazlo Soot.
A true professional, a connoisseur of his craft. Completely cold-blooded and ruthless, reminiscent of Hitman in some ways. As we nicknamed him with friends, ‘The Masked Man’, gets in and out of trouble easily. Professionally changes appearance and voice, easily gets to the heart of the target.
Gerald Diego’.
‘- Hey, he killed Jack!’ Such was the phrase uttered during the movie. Perhaps the creepiest and most principled killer in the film. His torture methods are intimidating, and his sleeve blade is a great melee weapon.
Killer Girls
A lesbian sniper (just like in Jericho) and a long-legged beauty who masquerades as a whore to infiltrate Buddy. Big Momma punches through windows and takes FBI agents out into the walls, splinters flying in all directions, blood pouring all around and all for the sake of getting her girlfriend out. The other just can’t find a good man.
Hollis Elmore
Martin Henderson played, though not a great role, but a very interesting one. Going from hell to revenge, he has earned himself a place of honor in the most interesting characters, and just think of the karate boy he meets. Almost all of the scenes elicit mind-blowing laughs.
Buddy Israel.
The very purpose of all the killers themselves. Jeremy Piven brilliantly played a man driven to despair who realizes that he is about to end. Bravo.
Ryan Reynolds
I’ve only seen a couple of movies with him in them before and now I can say for sure – he’s a good actor not only for romantic comedies, but also for serious movies. If it were not for him, the ending would not have been so strong.
Conclusion: It is an excellent film which smoothly passes from a black comedy to a detective drama. It is also packed with non-stop action. For all fans of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino, this is a must-see and as soon as possible.
