A ballad of hatred, murder, and revenge.
Corrupt police officer Tom Duncan commits suicide. Another police officer, Dave Bannion, becomes obsessed after his wife is blown up in a car bomb intended for him. Another character, a young girl named Debbie, has her face disfigured by her gangster boyfriend, and she flies into a rage. All these characters are tied together in a tight criminal drama with a bleak ending.
