“The Warriors” (1979), directed by Walter Hill, is a cult film about the adventures of a street gang trying to survive in a nightly succession of dangerous New York City neighborhoods. After a peaceful rally to discuss uniting the city’s gangs, the leaders of the Warriors become fake murder prosecutors, and now they must crisscross the city avoiding hostile gangs and police.
