A film adaptation of E. M. Forster’s novel of the same name, which tells the story of a same-sex romance in the early twentieth century. Two young students fall in love with each other while studying and discussing various aspects of personal life and ancient poetry. Their relationship ends when one of them gets married. The other student suffers, seeks therapy, and ultimately finds what he needs.
