Daniel Hillard works in television, where he voices cartoon characters. One day, he misses his son’s birthday, after which his wife tells him that she’s had enough and is filing for divorce. Daniel is denied custody but is allowed to visit the children once a week. Since that’s clearly not enough for him, and the mother is looking for a nanny for the children, Daniel transforms himself into Mrs. Doubtfire, a lovely elderly woman whom it’s simply impossible not to hire as a nanny.
