Ulysses arrives in the small town of Normal to temporarily serve as sheriff. The town seems safe, almost sleepy, and friendly. But after a bank robbery, Ulysses uncovers a criminal conspiracy involving the entire town. Now he must decide whether he is willing to go all the way and shatter this apparent idyll.
