A Russian road crew accidentally discovers an underground crypt, and the foreman, fearing robbers and criminals, posts guards around the site. Late at night during an earthquake, one of the coffins rolls down to the guards’ feet. Unable to contain their curiosity, the guards open the coffin and discover the body of a dog impaled on a stake. They pull the stake out of the corpse, which brings the vampire dog Zoltan back to life.
