A movie about painful, fractured family relationships performed by first-class actors. It is impossible to retell the plot of the picture, which evokes a huge number of different emotions: laughter, disgust, sympathy. One of the most memorable scenes draws a father, who extremely frankly and prosaically answers the question of his young son about his pederastic tendencies.
“Happiness” is a denunciation of the falsity of modern American family values, as perversion lurks in every corner, within the walls of every home.
