And if you look at the experience of previous years, then the date is even much more attractive than the ‘blockbuster season’, which opens in May, BvS opens this year’s blockbuster season and should not feel strong pressure from competitors, and until May there is enough time, recall the experience of the Gold Games 1 , 2 and Fast and Furious 7, who were able to take advantage of the easy schedule.
And how many conversations went on after the appointment to the role of Batman – Ben Affleck, whom everyone remembered as Daredevil. But after the first teaser, the public forgot Daredevil and only remembered ‘Tell me, Do You Bleed ,. And gradually, sympathy for Affleck’s Bats only increased over time, and after watching the previews, WB singled out a personal trilogy for Affleck’s hero in this universe, and the first film should be personally directed by Ben. As for the script, there were just a bunch of questions, because they tried to fit a lot into this film. And it was not clear where Zach Snyder would find so much timing, it is worth admitting that everything turned out not perfect, but in general the picture looked holistically throughout the film. They slowly developed the storyline of Bruce, with whom they were not at all familiar in the universe, as well as Clark, to bring this film to the expected climax. As I said earlier, there were flaws and sagging in the plot, but I’m ready to forgive everything with one decision.
It was hard to believe that Zack Snyder would disappoint with the visual part, especially with such iconic characters. And we saw in all its glory the merciless Batman, and great battles that looked in the same breath. Well, in general, the film has something to do and the eyes will not get bored.
As for the heroes, you need to start with Ben Affleck – exactly the way I imagined him and Batman. Merciless, who clearly pursues his goal and is ready to achieve this by any means, Affleck himself plays at the highest level. Henry Cavill – exactly as in the first part, I am impressed by his Superman, who periodically encounters the fact that humanity does not accept him, but tries to be what he can become for humanity. Jesse Eisenberg – I never cease to be amazed at how versatile the actor is, like his Lex Luthor, who managed to light up everywhere and pull the strings everywhere in order to shit everyone. Of the new characters, Gal Gadot – I like her wonder woman, while the truth is not really revealed her character, for this there will be a solo film, but she looks in the image. Jeremy Irons – he is the new Alfred, this is not Michael Caine, who is not a nanny for Bats, but rather a partner and mentor.
As a result to the film, the film does not lack much more familiarity with the characters, and then everything would be more harmonious. But at the same time, the plot looks solid, and develops slowly with interesting plot moves. The characters in the film are in their places, as is the soundtrack, which was written by the well-known Hans Zimmer.
