In this case, Superman Dominance uses more intricate plot moves to get rid of them and focus the story on Lois. The script really sharpens the multi-faceted and hitherto unused character of the journalist; she is more important to this story than Superman himself, since most of the animated film is shown through her relationship with the hero. This is probably the best image of Lois Lane on the screen in general: stubborn, resolute, purposeful. It forms a beautiful central element of the story on which the plot rests.

Superman is dead! Long live Superman!
Of course, there have recently been so many kinokomiksov that some people who are tired of them began to follow the rule: a good superhero is a dead superhero. But a cult character cannot be dead for too long. For the “Death of Superman” in the animation chronicle of DC should be “The Reign of Supermen.” The latest films in DC Animated Universe have become darker and older, but Domination, which continues, as you might guess, the storyline of Death, has returned in spirit to its origins – to the animated series ÂJustice League of the beginning of Âzero. The continuation is strikingly different in spirit with Death, which causes a slight dissonance: if you watch both films in a bundle, you may be a little tired of mixing the rhythms and fading of the characters.
So the story begins six months after Superman died in a battle with Dumsday. Lois Lane struggles with loss, Justice League is on the verge of collapse. The case of Superman continues … four different “Super”, suddenly appeared: each claims the title of the last son of Krypton. First comes the cheeky prot?g? of Lex Luthor – Superfight. Then a strange human robot nicknamed Cyborg Superman. Then a hammering man in an armor named Steel. And finally, Superman-Liquidator almost killing everyone. The main character became Lois Lane, trying to unravel both the identities of these fake Supermen and solve the mystery of what happened to the real Kal-El.

Another person who has his own interesting arch throughout Death and Dominion is Lex Luthor. Clever and mercenary at the same time, in the end, gets its interesting interpretation. The motives of his decisions throughout the ÂReign are not always clear, as, indeed, many other characters.
As for the correspondence of the ÂDominance of the comic-universe, the creators of the animation managed to convey the story at a good pace. A long epic tale about Super’s death and resurgence has become more flexible, just to meet the timing. One of the prominent comic villains is replaced by another, which brings together the DC animation universe. It looks a little far-fetched, although the plot sews more tightly. However, outside the context of previous films, ÂSuperman’s Reign is thus incomprehensible: unless the fans immediately understand what they mean.
Animation and stylistic choices are traditional for the latest animated films. The pleasant fight of superheroes with villains takes the main place. Each character has its own fighting style. Only the lack of humor jars; if he meets here, then it hurts here inappropriate.
The worthy and correctly awaited sequel to ÂThe Death of Superman, in fact, does not stand out among other DCAMU films. It is hard to say that there is something clever and attractive here, and in general ÂDomination is made exclusively for comic fans. But it is impossible to call this animated film a worthy addition to the DC film universe because of the limitations of the format and the overall plot outline. Of course, the hearts and philanthropy of ÂDominion is not enough, but who needs them when there is drive and originality?
