4k movies reviews
You know, sometimes it seems to me that people from the house opposite, looking out the windows, want to jump out and for a small moment feel the pristine freedom. But, later they fill their sad mines back into the house, which can only mean one thing – they are not so bad as it seems at first glance. We see practically the same characters in the film. On a subconscious level, they all want to die or run away, so as not to suffer, giving themselves over to mortal sins. Such a valuable Russian cinema, which offers us so much chernukha that sometimes it crawls out of such cracks, the existence of which we did not even suspect and cannot be next to this film. All, as one, the characters are freaks, personifying each of the seven deadly sins. The devastated city is like a soul living out its last days. And this already suggests that the film is not just a story about money, bandits and collective farmers, but a more useful parable for those who are able to look deeper. Of course, it’s not enough just to give each character a character invented by the Catholic Church (in SpongeBob, for example, this concept is also used), you also need to make everyone move to the beat. Gluttonous sponge Bob does not look as instructive and idealistic as convulsing from his own pride, Mr. Sunshine.

In addition to an interesting story, Click decided to tell us why all these stories are being made, namely, to push us to reflect on our own life. He did it very well.

Of course, besides all this metaphysical crap, the physical body of this film is just perfect: the music, the acting, the surroundings and the speed of the events taking place (as far as possible, having a whole desert, seven people and a suitcase of money). For the Coens, among other things, the story turned out to be no less interesting, albeit less instructive.

A strange conclusion suggests itself: this is a movie that should be watched, if not by everyone, then by a very large percentage of thinking people. This is one of those films that does not look at the time, it is relevant and interesting even now.
