Winnetou tries to keep peace in the Indian lands, but he is opposed by Bud Forrester’s gang, who illegally seize oil fields on Apache land and try to disturb the peace between Indians and Americans. Winnetou saves Ribanna, the daughter of an Assiniboine chief, from a bear, and love erupts between them. But to keep the peace, Ribanna must marry Lieutenant Merrl.
